Thanks for your time Araby. I've 'mouseovered' the template code for my navbar, but using IE8 myself - can't see if it does 'pop-up' ;)

Thanks! I think your site looks very good and has interesting, original content. It's easy to read, things are lined up, and the graphics/photos stand out well against the black background. Your meta tags look fine. Google has indexed your blog, but there are some similar sites competing for attention. I'm not making any money at this point, either, but I enjoy having the blog, so I'm keeping it.

Google/Blogger now permits hiding the navbar at the top, if you want to. It's very convenient in some ways, but distracting. See Nitecruzr: Navbar Is Optional for more information. I've kept mine, but display it only on mouseover (except in IE8, which still is buggy with hover on elements other than links).
