Amazon has just announced a wagon-load of new Kindles, including the Kindle Fire, Full Color 7" Multi-touch Display, Wi-Fi. The Fire has no gray e-ink screen. No keyboard. The photos and specs are impressive! The price is competitive at $199, and shipments are scheduled to start November 15th, in time for Christmas!

I want one! It's a device that will display books and their illustrations to advantage, but it also functions as a convenient color tablet, connecting to the Internet via Amazon's cloud servers.
